Hey darls’, hope you are doing great. Today we’d be talking about the basic and most important tool needed on this awesome journey to becoming virtuous ladies.

I’m pretty sure the word virtue isn’t new to us; we have heard people say it o’er and o’er again; we have probably used the word too. So what exactly does this word mean and why is it important on this journey?
The Oxford Advanced learner’s dictionary, International student’s edition defines it as
~Behavior or attitudes that show high moral standards
~A particular good quality or habit
~An attractive or useful quality
Another English dictionary defines it as
~A particular manifestation of moral excellence in a person; an admirable quality
~Conformity of behavior or thought with the strictures of morality; good moral conduct
~Moral conduct in sexual behavior, especially of women; chastity.
In my perspective, I see virtues as those exhibits seen in people that make them stand out and distinguish them from the crowd. It does not necessarily have to be outward appearance, physique or stature but that inward beauty that radiates on the outside. The demeanor and aura that goes about with a person, the charming atmosphere one possesses that draws people to her, that is what I call virtues. It might be by the way one composes herself when talking or acting in the public, but the truth is virtues cannot be faked, they are not cheap. You can’t claim to be patient, calm or polite in the public but are the exact opposite at home. A known quote says that ‘charity begins at home’, I would say that virtue also begins at home. Virtues are not gotten over the night or by constant practice, they are gotten from the God of virtues and you need to be connected to Him before you can get real virtues that would stand the test of time.
So ladies, the time is now, no procrastination, let’s get connected and get these virtues because they are the basic ingredients or tools needed on this journey to becoming virtuous ladies.
