Happy Independence day Nigeria and happy birthday to my dear friend Chinenye Nzom( if you have not met her yet click here).
Wow, my beloved country is 55years today. Its been a loooong journey down the road, filled with pitfalls, potholes, valleys, mountains, tears, joy amd laughter. All these have left dents and scars on “once” beautiful Nigeria and its citizens. Hurtful words like stone are thrown daily on Nigeria, it seems like we have no hope and future and I sometimes ask myself ‘where are we headed to?’.

Many have given up on this great nation, many hopes and dreams have been shattered, no one truly believes in the Giant of Africa anymore.

But let's take a break for a second, life generally is filled with troubles. Just like it aint wise to give up on yourself because of the many troubles in your life, don’t give up on NIGERIA. We are obviously not were we want to be but we are a work in progress.
